| A BISHNUPRIYA MANIPURI OF BANGLADESH, MR. ANANDA MOHAN SINGHA TO CONTEST ELECTIONS |

Tomorrow Bangladesh will hold elections to elect councilors across 481 sub districts.
At the same time it will also be a historic day for our community, as Girok Ananda Mohan Singha
will be contesting for the post of Vice Chairman in Bangladesh on the 22nd of January 2009.
It must be added that Girok Ananda Mohan Singha is a well known name in the political scenario of Bangladesh. Besides that he is also one of the well known Bishnupriya Manipuris in the country. Girok Ananda Mohan Singh will represent the Muktijudha Sonshod of the Awami League, the leading political party in Bangladesh.
