BM org: Hi Vishal. Stud what’s up with your long hair?
Vishal: Chopped off. Delhi’s weather!

BM Org: Too bad. Tell us something about you?
V: I am simple guy. I come from a very bonded family. Right now Iam pursuing my Management course in Delhi. Might pursue a career where I can use my creativity. Media or Advertising.

BM org: You have a band right?
V: Yep. You heard it right.

BM org: What do you call it?
V: Jam Station. Jaan, Sudarshan, Tapan and I form the band.
We don’t have a genre as such. But yeah we play hard rock. Iam also into a bit of Blues these days.

BM org: Kewl. Tell us which bands inspire you?
V: Dream Theater, Iron Maiden.

BM org: But if I am right, weren’t you in Adare Mringal doing ala Bollywood act, you know sing and dancing around? Don’t you think that act and doing a rock act are two and TOO different things? Isn’t it a bit too conflicting?
V: (Laughs finally). I was scared of that question. But anyways, see I did the film because of two reasons. One, I am already in the music scene for the last 7-8 years. So guessed, if Bon Jovi could do, so could I. (LOL). You can say it was an experiment.
Second, you know it’s a Bishnupriya Manipuri film! I wanted to be a part of it. Yeah, just for the heck of it you can say.

BM org: Do you regret it?
V: Absolutely not. I am proud of Adare Mringal.Its the first commercial Bishnupriya Manipuri film.

BM org: Have your friends ever accused you of throwing attitude?
V: Never. As I said, I am a simple guy. In fact a bit orthodox. I respect all.

BM org: Ok now the most important part of this interview! Let’s check your BMQ.
V: Sure. But what’s BMQ?

BM org: We call it the Bishnupriya Manipuri Quotient. Here we go. What would you do if you were made the President of the Mahasabha for a single day?
V: Gawd! Honestly did not expect this. Probably I would invite all of you for a Bandara!

BM org: What’s your favorite Bishnupriya Manipuri dish apart from Paltoi?
V: Paltoi has to be there. But yeah I love Naniyar Hou with Khatolor athi.

BM org:  What would you call those Bishnupriya Manipuris who don’t speak the language at home? In one word Vishal….
V: Fools.

BM org: Phew! Who is Kalashena?
V: The greatest Bishnupriya Manipuri Ishalpa.

BM org: Very kewl…Name a famous Daakula.
V: Dola Moni from Chenkuri.

BM org: Do you know your gaang? (Village)
V: Of course, Tangalokei, Khalopar, Patherkandi!
