1. The number of Bishnupriya Manipuri population is less in Bangalore.
If we guess, Bangalore may be having the second largest population of Bishnupriya Manipuri after National Capital Region (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida etc.), ahead of Mumbai, Pune and other cities. Now the matter of concern is if People at NCR and Pune can continue such celebrations, then why can’t Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri? If they could celebrate with flying colours on 2nd july 2006, then why not on the day of Rathajatra in 2009 i.e. on 27-06-2009?
2. Difference of thoughts and finally DOLADOLI among people
Isn’t it an excuse? Celebrations of such activities involve many people. Different people may have different points of view and finally may lead to chaos in organizing and celebrating such community activities. But that does not mean that the difference among people cannot be managed. We have been experiencing these differences, chaos which finally give birth to DOLADOLI in villages viz. Baromuni, Dudhpatuli, Singaari Mashughat, Kirtantali etc. including towns and cities, yet people are successfully celebrating such activities in these places. NCR region is such a place which although having maximum number of migrated Bishnupriya Manipuris is successfully performing its long innings with consistency. If NCR Bishnupriya Manipuri can do it, why can’t Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri while maintaining the consistency in conducting the celebrations?
Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri may have to learn from National Capital Region Bishnupriya Manipuri.
3. Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri may not be competent enough
Organizing community program once on 2nd July 2006 and maintaining consistency of discontinuation, doesn’t it put a question mark on the competency level of Bishnupriya Manipuri Bangalore to organize and manage such grand programs successfully and consistently?
Expect some hopeful and appreciating answers from potent Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuris.
4. The Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri Society is playing the role of rabbit in the story of the race between a rabbit and a tortoise.
While making a movie based on the story of race competition between a rabbit and a tortoise, Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri may have decided to take the role of the rabbit. That is why it once ran with speed and great enthusiasm ( organized program on 2nd July 2006 ) gave saabasi on its own shoulder thinking it has done a great job and has been sleeping under the tree ( Inconsistency of celebration ) with great satisfaction. While the NCR Bishnupriya Manipuri takes the role of tortoise is slowly marching with pride and satisfaction by organizing various great programs viz. the upcoming Khechuri Paali on 27th June 2009 in South Delhi. Unfortunately there are no such initiatives even in discussion among Bangalooru Bishnupriya Manipuri Society till date.
FINALLY IS BISHNUPRIYA MANIPURI SOCIETY BANGALORE STILL ALIVE OR DEAD? IF IT IS ALIVE, WHEN WILL THE RABBIT (BANGALOORU BISHNUPRIYA MANIPURI) WILL AWAKE?
