shows lot has developed in the bishnupriya manipuri communityspecially the up coming generation but never forget the traditions we have its our Dharohar special thing being khecuri pali kapokor palithe rituals of rass both gopi rass and rakhual rass and never forget the funeral ceromny which the deceased ppl of bishnupriya manipuri get the heavenly abodeand never forget the systems of bisnupriya marraige system( if you get it itll be the downfall of the bishnupriya manipuri tradition.

Uploading of articles etc

I am a resident of Guwahati, Assam employed in N.F.Raillway, Maligaon. I liked this site and it is very much encouraging and appreciating effort to know our BM community more and a nice site to share views/news of our community people residing in different places around the world. I m a retired Naval personnel, specialised in ship-building,(warships & Merchant ships, including Sub-marine) worked for about 24 years in a ship building yard, named Mazagon Dock Ltd, Mumbai. Now I m spending a normal retired life. At times, I enjoy spreading the Vani of Sri Sri Bhubaneshwar Sadhu Thakur outside of Assam--Tripura. At present I m living in Chembur,Mumbai .

until and unless we dont have notable figures in the society.....no chance to manifest ourself to the world.....simply education will do nothing.....we should have a national figure like Sachin , Stars in the films,Singers etc...so whenever there comes an arising star in the society we should support with all our efforts.....also lastly request to all manipuris to maintain the cultural activities....specially.....i have seen meiteis wearing cultural dresses in colleges too....but in our case it is like a dream ....so dont make it a dream ...make it real........maintain your culture will increase your outlook.....thats all....

Hey budy what's up? really hatsoff to u. u r doin a great job, i hv to admit that. hey listen i know im no one to say this but, I think it'll be much better to concentrate ur whole work should directed towards those people who are unable to spend 30/- bucks or 10/-bucks for surfing net or unwilling to do that.coz, the second type of bishnupriyas who spends money on net. are numberous and I think they are well aware to the world scenerio.
juz think of a guy named "dakula", a regular guy who chew "RAJA" all the time and spends time roaming here and there in doin nothing and hardly passed 10th standard.Our or your true success will be there where if someone like "dakula"got some help from us and succeed in stabilizing his down.
juz ignore if u dont like the scrap.

Hi Jyotirmoy and Other members,

I am interested about the "yellow page" link, as i think this will be a great help to every one.What am thinking is that we should have a warehouse of all BM people, am talking about creating a database which will keep all information about a particular person including the "history". A database about "who's who", "who's where" and "who's what" and lastly "whom to contact in a particular location". This will obviously make us easier to track each and everyone of us and will be helpful to all for getting information. Also linked to that information & suggestions about students regarding various opportunities for making up a career so that they can be benefited from professionals of all fields( by now we should be in a capability to instruct our young generation about the future career which in our time we have missed).

Can you please let me know the design structure( technically) you are coming up in that link so that I can provide some more inputs for implementation.

Dear Editor,

I want our people back in village to know more about micro finance, small cottage industries based on traditional handicrafts specially by Ima, Indol and so and maximum utilization of land by our BM farmers. Presently they are just into one time crop i.e. rice. And the rest of the whole year their agricultural field sits as a useless piece of land. I think there are lots of government schemes for promoting agriculture and subsidies related to agriculture.

Finally thanks to all those who have dreamt, initiated and made the site real . We have a long way to go. To cover the long distance one must start with a small step. So this is the step to conquer and reach that distance.

Hail Bishnupriya Manipuri, the most exciting community of the present world. Believe it to feel it.
